Like a lot of New Yorkers, we hated lugging our laundry and dry cleaning down the street in the muggy summers and slushy winters. And we were frustrated by having to call someone to schedule a pickup or delivery when we could easily handle our other errands online. "There's gotta be a better way!" we thought. So we rounded up a team determined to cut the complications out of dry cleaning and started SpotlessCity.
Our goal is to modernize the dry cleaning and laundry industry by bringing it online and creating a new way for busy customers to connect with their trusted dry cleaners. We're partnering with local dry cleaners, not competing with them. We believe it's about time New Yorkers were able to handle their dry cleaning and laundry in the same simple way we order meals, buy groceries or rent movies—right over the Internet.

SpotlessCity is now live in our pilot neighborhoods. To start, we've partnered with a few excellent dry cleaners, but we're just warming up! Pretty soon, we'll be expanding our service to neighborhoods and dry cleaners all over New York City (and beyond), and offering enhanced features. We're doing whatever we can to achieve our mission—to make city life more liveable, one load at a time.
